Refurbishing
Refurbished batteries
Refurbishing is an exclusive battery renewal process that we offer to recover 100% of its range.
Due to their use, they become exhausted and no longer have sufficient capacity to fulfil their purpose, either by not lasting a full work shift or by reducing a vehicle’s mileage too much.
Thanks to the refurbishing process, we obtain batteries 40% cheaper than new batteries with the same characteristics.
All our designs are devised to be easily disassembled and, therefore, to facilitate the refurbishing process.*
We offer you a comprehensive and convenient maintenance service that takes care of having all your company’s batteries in optimal operating conditions in a planned and agile manner.
You can forget about accumulating large backup stocks or oversizing your battery requirements for a fleet or production centre.
* We can also refurbish third-party batteries, as long as the feasibility study is favourable.
Third-party battery refurbishing by replacing used cells with new cells and taking advantage of all possible components, thus reducing the cost of the batteries compared to new ones. These new cells can be identical to the original ones or they can be replaced by a different version with improved characteristics, for example, to achieve more range.

At Alterity we give a second life to batteries employed for demanding use such as mobility or industry, utilizing them in less ambitious storage applications.
We grant a second life to your batteries so that they can operate with optimal results for up to 3,000 cycles, extending their operating cycle in optimal operating conditions from 8 to 10 years.
Third-party battery diagnosis service for original applications.
We diagnose batteries used in cars, buses, and boats, among others, to identify the remaining capacity of the battery and certify it for use in second life applications. Sale of reconditioned battery packs for second life battery applications. By obtaining raw material in good condition from our business model and third-party battery diagnostics, we are able to supply reconditioned batteries at low cost and high margins.
